Cornerstone Leadership Academy is a private non-profit school serving Dekalb and Rockdale counties of Georgia.  We are an accredited school accredited by the Georgia Accrediting Commission. Guided by the motto, "Education is Freedom," we believe in educating a child to think creatively about the world we live in. Our curriculum allows our students to ‘take chances, get messy, and make mistakes’. At the same time, a rigorous formal education is established that allows our students to excel in all areas of academics. In a typical day, our students may have meditated, recycled, analyzed an author's work, solved some advanced arithmetic problems, written a senator, and taken a nature walk.

Our Mission is to develop the student into ambassadors for the world.

We will achieve this by:

  • Teaching the 'whole' child. Embracing the mind, body and spirit of our student to grow into happy, healthy, wise and respectable adults.
  • Partnering with qualified teachers who are passionate about teaching and committed to lifelong learning.
  • Utilizing an innovative and enriched curriculum that embodies hands-on activities and discovery opportunities for each lesson.

Our philosophy is simple but lends to the complexity of our humanity. We believe that we are educating leaders of tomorrow for a changing global world, thus, seamlessly connecting our students’ lives inside and outside of the classroom. Cornerstone unremittingly partners with our parents and community to bring discovery, innovation, insight, and joy into our classrooms. In partnership with families, students, faculty, and community, Cornerstone Leadership Academy:

• Provides opportunities for students to excel academically with a rigorous curriculum.

• Builds character and respect in our students by integrating spiritual consciousness into our curriculum and service to the school and community.

• Offers students a chance to experience diverse co-curriculum activities that enhance their learning and understanding.

• Inspires leadership and prepares students for responsible stewardship and citizenship.  

Cornerstone Leadership Academy is organized exclusively for educational purposes under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, or corresponding section of any future federal tax code.
